Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections

About the role

Anthropic is rapidly expanding its commercial business across the Americas and needs a senior leader to own the end‑to‑end credit and collections lifecycle. You will join the Invoice‑to‑Cash (I2C) team, shaping strategy, driving automation, and partnering with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk and Customer Success to ensure responsible credit extension and efficient cash recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction for credit and collections in the Americas, including portfolio management, aging reviews and cash forecasting.
• Own the automation roadmap for collections, covering segmentation, dunning workflows, self‑service payment experiences and automated dispute routing.
• Lead the adoption of AI across the credit and collections workflow, such as intelligent outreach prioritisation, AI‑generated correspondence, predictive risk scoring and automated reconciliation.
• Manage, coach and develop a team of managers and analysts, setting KPIs around DSO, aging, collection effectiveness and automation coverage.
• Establish credit risk strategy for new and existing customers, including credit policies, limit frameworks, payment term guidelines and data‑driven escalation processes.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience scaling credit and collections functions, preferably in a high‑growth, technology‑focused environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set clear performance metrics and drive operational rigor.
• Strong track record of implementing automation and AI solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional partners such as Sales, Legal and Customer Success.
• Commitment to balancing customer experience with protecting business financial health.
