Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The Museum of Ice Cream is looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to act as the primary strategic partner for Operations leadership. You will drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, and workforce performance while collaborating closely with the Director of People on key people initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Operations leaders to identify people risks, talent gaps, staffing needs, and manager capability issues.
• Translate business goals into people plans that support retention, engagement, performance, labor, guest experience, and growth.
• Provide trusted advisory support during complex, urgent, or change‑focused moments.
• Support workforce planning across sites, including role mix, staffing models, labor needs, and opening readiness.
• Develop tools, templates, workflows, and operating rhythms to improve consistency across locations.
• Oversee employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, performance concerns, terminations, and manager coaching.
• Identify ER trends and recommend process, training, or leadership interventions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting operations or similar functions.
• Strong ability to translate business objectives into actionable people strategies.
• Excellent advisory and coaching skills for senior leaders and managers.
• Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, staffing models, and employee relations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with HR Operations, legal, and cross‑functional teams.
