Senior DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Infrastructure

About the role

Apptronik is building AI‑powered robots and needs a Senior DevOps Engineer to accelerate its software delivery. You will own the CI/CD pipelines, build infrastructure, and developer platforms that enable rapid, reliable releases of robot software.

Key responsibilities

• Improve the end‑to‑end developer experience by speeding up builds, simplifying release flows, and providing self‑service tooling.
• Own and operate the CI/CD systems used by all software teams, from trigger to artifact distribution.
• Define and execute the strategy for packaging, releasing, and distributing robot software.
• Build and maintain templates, tooling, and workflows that let teams ship without deep infrastructure knowledge.
• Collaborate with security, embedded, and machine‑learning teams on shared infrastructure needs.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for shared services and help shape reliability practices as the platform scales.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with strong Linux fundamentals and systems‑level expertise.
• Proven experience in production Kubernetes environments and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major CI system.
• Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Fluent in Python and Bash for building automation and glue code.
• GitOps mindset with version‑controlled, reviewable infrastructure.
• Excellent written communication and documentation habits.
