Senior Data Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis (Associate)

About the role

The USA CIB Senior Data Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis (Associate) will own and improve FP&A processes with a strong focus on data, automation, and analytics. You will design end‑to‑end reporting solutions, build Power BI dashboards, and provide data‑driven insights that support forecasting and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and manage reporting, projects, and systems within the FP&A function, emphasizing data models, dashboards, and automated pipelines.
• Build Power BI dashboards, analytical models, and data transformations using Power Query and SQL to support reporting and forecasting.
• Design and maintain end‑to‑end reporting solutions from raw data ingestion to executive‑level dashboards.
• Promote data governance, standardisation, and automation best practices across FP&A processes.
• Recommend industry and peer data sources to enrich reporting with benchmarks.
• Coach junior professionals on Power BI, Power Query, SQL, and automation best practices.
• Implement scalable solutions using Python, SQL, Power BI, dbt models, and automated data workflows.
• Deliver robust financial forecasts supported by version‑controlled data models.

Required profile

• Strong experience in FP&A data analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to design and automate data pipelines and dashboards.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior analysts.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executives.
