Senior Community Manager – Multi‑Site Residential Properties

About the role

The Senior Community Manager will oversee the daily operations of two stabilized residential communities – Broadstone Ayrsley (garden‑style) and Ayrsley Lofts (mid‑rise) – located in Charlotte, NC. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, maintaining high resident satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with all applicable housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of both properties, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services.
• Lead and develop on‑site staff, scheduling work, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Monitor and achieve budgeted financial targets, controlling expenses and optimizing revenue streams.
• Ensure strict adherence to Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with corporate departments on reporting, marketing initiatives, and capital improvement projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple residential properties of similar size (approximately 550 units total).
• Strong knowledge of multi‑family housing laws and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with occasional weekend coverage as needed.
