Senior Advisor – Active Investment Services

About the role

As a Senior Advisor within Santander's Active Investment Services (AIS) team, you will drive trading execution and provide proactive advisory support to professional clients. You will work closely with the Investments Team, contributing to investment committees and helping expand both existing and new AIS accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide equity and fixed‑income market coverage and due diligence for professional clients.
• Conduct technical and fundamental analysis to generate investment ideas and research for advisors, portfolio managers, and clients.
• Support the sales force in maintaining existing accounts and acquiring new ones, with a focus on the AIS platform.
• Execute client trades in accordance with orders and manage selected client portfolios under supervision.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, promoting AIS services to sales teams and clients.
• Participate in asset allocation and product working groups, contributing to investment strategy definition.
• Assist in risk control processes, minimize operational risks, and propose process improvements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial services with a flexible, client‑focused approach.
• Ability to represent a broad range of investment products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, and foreign exchange.
• Strong analytical skills and capacity to deliver high‑quality client service.
