Seasonal Groundskeeper – River Terrace

About the role

We are seeking an entry‑level Seasonal Groundskeeper to join the River Terrace community team for a short‑term assignment covering a leave of absence (up to 90 days). The role focuses on maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of outdoor areas while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain community spaces, entrances, and exits throughout the day.
• Remove debris, clean outdoor areas, and ensure trash rooms are sanitary.
• Pull out and replace trash and recycling containers on scheduled pickup days.
• Assist the property team in clearing trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.

Required profile

• Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
