Scholarship Professional I

About the role

The Scholarship Professional I supports the University of Arkansas' financial aid office in administering scholarship programs and assisting students with their financial aid needs. This full‑time, on‑site position is based at the Fayetteville campus and contributes to the university’s mission of providing transformational educational opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Process scholarship applications, awards, and disbursements in compliance with university policies and federal regulations.
• Maintain accurate student financial aid records and generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to students and families regarding scholarship eligibility, requirements, and renewal procedures.
• Collaborate with academic departments, admissions, and external funding agencies to coordinate scholarship initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, education administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential student information.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
