Sales Development Representative – Multi‑Cultural – San Fernando Valley

About the role

This accelerated, on‑the‑job training position is designed for individuals who want to launch a career in sales. Working in the field across multiple territories, you will support key accounts, drive sales, and execute promotions while gaining hands‑on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned accounts daily, following an efficient routing pattern.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, promoting display ideas, new products, shelf placements, drink and wine lists, and promotions.
• Maintain product levels by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legally permitted.
• Ensure brand visibility using current point‑of‑sale materials.
• Collect payments and process checks or other remittances where allowed.
• Conduct educational training seminars for account staff on brand information.
• Handle customer issues, complaints, and special delivery circumstances, escalating to management as needed.
• Analyze buying patterns, pricing, and product programming to meet distribution, volume, and activity goals.
• Process credits, returns, and manage receivables, communicating on aged balances.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and complete required surveys for national account compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales.
• Basic PC proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software.
• Results‑oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
