Room Service Ambassador

About the role

The Room Service Ambassador supports the Patient Food Call Center at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, ensuring that patients receive timely and courteous food service throughout their stay. This position is open to current University of Arkansas System employees, including student workers and graduate assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Answer patient food service calls and process room service requests accurately.
• Coordinate with kitchen and delivery teams to guarantee prompt order fulfillment.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and patient satisfaction.
• Document service interactions and resolve any issues or special dietary needs.
• Assist with inventory tracking and reporting for food service supplies.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System with legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
