Registered Nurse – Physician Practice

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care within the United Health Services Physician Practice, supporting providers and office staff to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging patients and determining appropriate care disposition.
• Delivering direct clinical care and assisting providers during examinations and procedures.
• Facilitating care transitions and coordinating follow‑up services.
• Ensuring compliance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, UHS policies, and ANA standards.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and upholding patient rights and quality standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• At least one year of experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting.
• Current NY State RN license.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Patient triage and assessment.
