Registered Nurse – Direct Patient Care

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care across a broad age range, from infants to geriatric patients. Working under supervision, you will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and perform technical nursing functions.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Administer intravenous medications, parenteral nutrition, and blood products while monitoring patient response.
• Support life‑saving measures and act as a patient advocate.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families using basic teaching concepts.
• Delegate and supervise care tasks to appropriate team members.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain a safe environment.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Active license with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification; ACLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical practice for adolescent through geriatric populations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• IV therapy and medication administration.
• Parenteral nutrition delivery.
• Blood product administration.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Operation of complex clinical equipment.
