Quality Assurance Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Quality Assurance Operator to support manufacturing and distribution operations. The role focuses on monitoring product quality, handling non‑conformances, and maintaining documentation in compliance with GxP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and operational tasks according to SOPs to ensure smooth quality management.
• Monitor product quality at various stages and promptly resolve non‑conformances.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with GxP regulations.
• Support daily operations, including IBAs, line sign‑off, sample collection, Pack MBR and Fill MBR reviews, autoclave report review, and logbook review.
• Provide guidance to team members to enhance quality management efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a quality or manufacturing environment.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Ability to work C/D shift schedule (6 pm‑6 am) on a rotating 4‑days‑on/4‑days‑off basis.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GxP regulations and SOP compliance.
• Experience with IBAs, line sign‑off, and sample collection processes.
• Familiarity with Pack MBR and Fill MBR review procedures.
• Ability to review autoclave reports and maintain logbooks.
