Product Support Associate – Financial Services

About the role

The Product Support Associate works within Santander's Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) team, providing technical and operational support to bankers and ensuring smooth middle‑office processes for the trading desk.

Key responsibilities

• Handle banker inquiries via calls and emails, supporting account opening, liquidation and trading procedures.
• Investigate and resolve blocked securities transactions in the Globus system and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Perform daily reconciliation of DPM trading activity and prepare monthly Asset In/Asset Out reports.
• Manage and reconcile daily SICAV trade settlements (equities, fixed income, funds) using Bloomberg, liaising with custodians and brokers.
• Rebalance discretionary portfolios, execute investment/divestment actions, and monitor risk profile updates.
• Coordinate FX hedging activities, update investment strategies, and maintain system modules and grids.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Operations department with a thorough understanding of security‑related processes.
• Knowledge and experience with Security Master functionalities.
• Understanding of DPM processes and middle‑office operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Globus middle‑office system.
• Experience using Bloomberg for trade settlement and data.
