Product Development Engineer

About the role

The Product Development Engineer will join 3M’s DEPP Display Lab to create innovative coating processes and new display products. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, ensuring safe laboratory practices and protecting intellectual property.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new products for the DEPP Display Lab, focusing on coating processes and product development.
• Work across business, manufacturing, and quality functions to deliver differentiated display solutions.
• Generate intellectual property to protect high‑value products and processes.
• Maintain safe laboratory conditions using life‑cycle management and EHS best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before start.
• At least two years of experience with coating processes (die, roll, pattern, slide, inkjet) in any sector.
