Procurement Specialist – Logistics

About the role

Yazaki is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join its Tangier plant. The role supports the logistics and supply‑chain functions by handling orders, managing data, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and cost‑effective deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Order handling – initiate, verify, confirm and follow‑up outgoing orders, provide customer and supplier support, manage backlog and urgent requests.
• Data management – input and maintain accurate data, ensure data integrity, and update master data records.
• Inventory management – monitor stock levels, optimise on‑hand inventory and prevent obsolescence.
• Transport coordination – arrange urgent shipments in the most cost‑efficient way and track shipments.
• Supplier relationship and administration – respond to supplier emails/calls, participate in meetings, check parts, prices, stock, deliveries and forecast demand.
• Reporting – prepare and ensure timely reporting on procurement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Technical field or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar procurement or logistics role.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Understanding of logistics and supply‑chain processes.
