Primary Care/Urgent Care Physician

About the role

The Primary Care/Urgent Care Physician is a core member of the clinical team, delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered care to individuals of all ages. As the first point of clinical contact, you will manage acute and chronic conditions, promote preventive health, and ensure continuity of care within a collaborative, technology‑enabled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations, obtain detailed histories, and perform complete physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based, personalized care plans.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions in compliance with regulations.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging.
• Provide preventive services such as immunizations, screenings, and wellness exams.
• Utilize EMR systems, AI decision‑support tools, and telemedicine platforms to document care and improve access.
• Foster strong physician‑patient relationships and act as a health advocate.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and mentorship of clinical staff.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of New York.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control certifications.
• Suboxone and CDL certifications are preferred.
• FMCSA certification must be obtained within the first month of hire.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Experience using telemedicine platforms.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven clinical decision support tools.
