About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking entry‑level, seasonal tax preparers to join its fast‑paced teams across the United States. This role is ideal for candidates who want flexible hours, on‑the‑job training, and the chance to help individuals file accurate federal and state returns.

Key responsibilities

• Guide clients through tax preparation, explaining required documentation and filing options.
• Prepare and complete a variety of tax forms, including year‑end, multi‑year, and multi‑state returns.
• Provide IRS audit support and answer client questions about their filings.
• Submit electronic filings and deliver printed copies for client review and signature.

Required profile

• Entry‑level or seasonal candidate; no prior experience required.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain a PTIN certification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
