Plant Controller

About the role

The Plant Controller will enhance financial transparency and drive operational efficiency within Lactalis' manufacturing environment in the United States. You will provide critical financial insights on cost of goods sold, manufacturing operating expenses, and support strategic decision‑making through comprehensive analytics and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial insights on COGS and manufacturing OPEX.
• Develop, implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and packaging.
• Support CAPEX, cost‑saving programs, budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly performance reports with variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year.
• Evaluate financial impact of productivity initiatives and cost‑reduction projects.
• Provide costing support for new product commercialization and innovation projects.
• Lead continuous‑improvement efforts by collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies.
• Prepare technical reports and financial models related to utilization, capacity and business simulations.
