Physician - Primary Care

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible physicians in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to join its primary care team in Lake Charles. Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care in primary care settings, adhering to Ochsner’s core values.
• Utilize Epic electronic health record for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with specialist and ancillary services to support chronic disease management.
• Leverage digital medicine tools to monitor and treat patients with chronic conditions.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Open to newly trained physicians as well as those with clinical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Experience using digital medicine platforms for remote patient monitoring.
