Performance Technical Representative

About the role

The Performance Technical Representative drives sales growth and brand awareness for KEEN’s performance product categories across the Appalachian territory. This role builds strong relationships with specialty and strategic retail partners through product education, in‑store engagement, and community events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with retail accounts to support brand growth and align product education with retailer and consumer needs.
• Deliver product training and education to retail staff and consumers on KEEN running, hiking, and performance sandal products.
• Create and execute in‑store engagement activities and running events to increase product awareness and drive sell‑through.
• Represent KEEN at regional and national marketing events such as trail races, expos, and trade shows.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Merchandising teams to streamline communication and provide frontline feedback.
• Maintain weekly and monthly reports on progress toward defined goals and adjust strategies as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in retail, sales, account marketing, or customer service (running retail experience preferred).
• Deep knowledge of trail running and outdoor pursuits with genuine enthusiasm for outdoor culture.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, highly organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and possess a reliable personal vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
