Part-Time Adjunct Faculty – Construction Technology

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time adjunct faculty member to teach Construction Technology courses at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope‑Texarkana. The instructor will deliver curriculum aligned with the college’s philosophy and objectives, supporting student learning in a hands‑on, industry‑relevant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lectures, labs, and workshops for Construction Technology classes.
• Prepare and follow approved syllabi, course materials, and assessment tools.
• Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain academic records.
• Collaborate with the division dean and Vice Chancellor for Academics on curriculum improvements.
• Stay current with industry standards and integrate practical examples into instruction.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background or professional experience in construction technology or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the post‑secondary level.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to student success.
