About the role
Our Brooklyn‑based nonprofit community space is looking for a highly organized and personable Office Manager to keep the facility welcoming, functional, and well‑maintained. You will be the primary onsite point of contact, supporting therapists, visitors, and event participants while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Open, close, and monitor the office during regular business hours.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment, including supplies, signage, and common areas.
- Coordinate room setup, supplies, and hospitality for in‑person events and workshops.
- Update the website and internal digital resources with current activities, event listings, and space information.
- Handle basic financial administration such as bill pay and expense tracking.
- Serve as the on‑site problem‑solver for vendors, building management, and staff.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliability, sound judgment, and discretion.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a busy physical space.
Required skills
- Basic financial administration.
- Website content updating.
- Digital organization of shared calendars, documents, and internal systems.
What we offer
- Competitive salary $60‑75K DOE plus benefits.
- Full‑time schedule (10 am‑6 pm, Monday‑Friday) with occasional evening/weekend event support.
