Non-Student Extra Help – University Farm

About the role

We are seeking a Non‑Student Extra Help Assistant to support basic farm operations at the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s farm. This temporary, fixed‑term role involves unskilled to semi‑skilled labor, helping with daily tasks on a campus farm.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic farm duties such as feeding, cleaning, and general animal care.
• Assist with operating farm machinery under supervision.
• Support routine farm maintenance and field work.

Required profile

• Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor environment.
• Preference for experience with large animals and operating machinery.
• Must be able to pass background, motor vehicle, sex offender, and substance‑abuse screenings.
