Manager, Capacity Management & Access Analytics (Hybrid)

About the role

The Capacity Management & Access Analytics Manager leads a team that improves provider scheduling, patient access, workflow performance, and operational efficiency across Ochsner Health. This hybrid role partners with clinical, operational, and information systems leaders to turn data into actionable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee provider capacity management, patient access performance, and operational analytics to boost scheduling efficiency and organizational outcomes.
• Analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Provide strategic insights, forecasting, and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Partner with clinical, revenue cycle, and IS leaders to optimize provider scheduling and access workflows.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts, fostering accountability and professional growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, patient access, or provider scheduling, including 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading operational analytics, performance improvement, or quality initiatives.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Tableau and Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Epic Cadence and Epic SlicerDicer (or similar) for schedule and access analytics.
• Knowledge of AI‑enabled technologies and automation tools that improve operational performance.
