Maintenance Technician – Mason

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Mason to ensure the physical aspects of its Everett property meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work on buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in residential properties.
• Experience handling work orders, inventory tracking, and documentation.
• Commitment to safety policies and participation in routine safety meetings.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and contractors for make‑ready tasks.
