Maintenance Technician – Ascent Midtown

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Ascent Midtown – a high‑rise, stabilized property – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. You will work on building systems, common areas, and grounds to keep the community operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident‑initiated work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures.
• Experience performing make‑ready tasks and coordinating with vendors.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and inventory management.
• Willingness to work on‑site Monday‑Friday with a rotating on‑call schedule.
