Maintenance Supervisor – East Bay

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position is based in the East Bay area and requires on‑call availability.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Perform routine upkeep and preventative maintenance across the property.
• Diagnose the source of defects or problems and execute repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee and manage the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related experience in building or property maintenance.
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday with on‑call responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
