Maintenance Engineer – Production Equipment Reliability

About the role

Join 3M’s global team as a Maintenance Engineer focused on production equipment reliability. Based in Quapaw, OK, you will work alongside innovative engineers to ensure plant assets operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project timelines, budgets, construction activities, and personnel to deliver assigned projects on schedule.
• Manage and audit the site contractor management program, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, owners, and external contractors to maintain alignment and accountability.
• Develop and implement analytical approaches to predict, prevent, and reduce equipment failures.
• Analyze failure, cost, and uptime data using reliability analysis tools to drive improvement plans.
• Support Maintenance Conscious Engineering strategies and oversee programs such as mechanical integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience working with production equipment reliability in a private, public, government, or military setting.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
