Local Delivery Driver – CDL A

About the role

The Local Delivery Driver – CDL A is responsible for delivering foodservice and other products to a variety of customers, ensuring timely service and proper merchandising in stores. The role involves operating a delivery vehicle, handling loads, and interacting with store staff to complete deliveries and set up promotional displays.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the delivery vehicle to assigned stores and deliver products, including foodservice items.
• Unload pallets using an electronic pallet jack or hand truck and place products in designated back‑room areas.
• Rotate and stock products on shelves, coolers, and vending equipment, building displays and setting up promotional signage.
• Generate invoices and settle cash and charges daily.
• Maintain frequent communication with store management and receiving personnel to confirm load acceptance.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting cases (20‑45 lb) and pushing/pulling loads (up to 150 lb), as well as reaching, squatting, and bending while merchandising.

Required profile

• At least 21 years of age.
• Pass DOT drug test and DOT physical.
• Valid U.S. CDL with non‑excepted interstate status (or non‑excepted intrastate status where applicable).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal history review as required.

Required skills

• Valid U.S. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A.
• Operation of pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucks.
• Compliance with DOT regulations and documentation.

What we offer

• Base salary of $92,433 per year.
