About the role
We are looking for a motivated, customer‑oriented Pharmacist to join our Indianapolis team. The pharmacist will fill medications for facilities, workplace clinics, independent patients, and mail‑order customers while ensuring accuracy and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Key responsibilities
- Assess identity, strength and purity of medications and verify prescriptions for accuracy.
- Compound and dispense medications according to physician orders.
- Provide drug interaction, side‑effect, dosage and storage counseling.
- Analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and prevent harmful interactions.
- Plan, implement and maintain procedures for mixing, packaging and labeling in line with policy and legal requirements.
- Open the pharmacy daily and comply with state board regulations.
- Participate in Saturday and on‑call rotations as needed.
Required profile
- Valid Kentucky RPh license and residence in Indiana.
- At least 1 year of “walk‑in” patient pharmacy experience.
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy software and long‑term‑care settings.
- Strong communication skills with elderly patients and ability to protect confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual, decentralized team.
