About the role
Rapid Finance is seeking a meticulous Legal Document Reviewer to join its growing legal team in Bethesda, MD. This hybrid position supports the litigation and settlement processes by ensuring all legal documents are accurate, complete, and ready for filing or execution.
Key responsibilities
- Review court filings drafted by the litigation team for errors and compliance before filing.
- Analyze case dockets to verify appropriate actions are being taken.
- Examine drafted settlement agreements to confirm they meet all required terms.
- Assist the Senior Paralegal in managing document flow and addressing high‑priority items promptly.
- Identify recurring mistakes in legal assistants’ work and provide feedback for improvement.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality written work.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume of documents.
- Clear written communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to take on administrative tasks as needed.
