Leasing Professional – Village Creek

About the role

The Leasing Professional for Village Creek will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry through lease renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident and prospect data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the on‑site management and maintenance teams.
• Detail‑oriented approach to ensure accurate processing of applications and lease documentation.

Required skills
