Janitor

About the role

RWB Thrift is looking for a reliable Janitor to keep our thrift store clean, organized, and welcoming for customers. You will work on‑site, maintaining high standards of hygiene across all public areas of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the sales floor, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface wiping.
• Empty trash bins and recycling containers, ensuring proper waste separation.
• Collect shopping carts or baskets from entrances or parking areas and return them to designated locations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer‑facing roles is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lb occasionally and exert up to 25 lb frequently.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions safely.
