Investment Banking Analyst – M&A and Capital Raising

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst to join our Denver team, supporting M&A and capital raising transactions. The role offers hands‑on experience working with senior bankers and clients, leveraging technology and analytical rigor.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models, valuations, and transaction analyses to support deal execution.
• Assist in preparing marketing materials, presentations, and due diligence documents for M&A and capital raise transactions.
• Conduct in‑depth industry and company research to support deal sourcing and client advisory.
• Support senior bankers in coordinating client meetings, investor outreach, and transaction processes.
• Present investment theses and detailed analyses to sophisticated clients and investors.
• Utilize AI tools and automation (e.g., GPTs, financial modeling software) to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Track deal progress, manage data rooms, and ensure smooth execution of transaction‑related tasks.
• Collaborate closely with associates and senior bankers, and contribute to recruiting, cultural initiatives, and networking events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Interest in utilizing technology and automation to improve processes.

Required skills
