Investment Banking Analyst – Equity Capital Markets

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join its Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team. The analyst will support high‑profile capital‑raising transactions, contribute to client presentations, and help drive the growth of the firm’s ECM franchise.

Key responsibilities

• Execute public capital‑raising transactions such as IPOs and follow‑on offerings.
• Assist senior bankers in preparing client pitches, RFPs, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with industry coverage, sales & trading, syndicate, equity research, and legal teams.
• Prepare thought pieces on equity capital markets and the technology sector.
• Conduct financial analyses, including precedent transactions and shareholder targeting.
• Draft presentation decks and internal committee memorandums for transaction launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Strong quantitative, accounting and finance knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
