Inbound Lead Development Representative – North America

About the role
The Inbound Lead Development Representative is the first point of contact for prospects who engage with AVEVA through marketing campaigns, digital channels, and events. Working in a hybrid environment, you will qualify inbound leads, uncover business needs and create high‑quality opportunities for the sales pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify and develop new sales opportunities from inbound leads generated by marketing activities, events and web inquiries.
- Execute timely, personalized outreach via phone, email and social media to convert interest into qualified opportunities.
- Research and assess inbound leads to evaluate fit and opportunity potential.
- Articulate AVEVA’s solutions and value propositions to address customer pain points.
- Use Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage lead queues and maintain accurate CRM data.
- Maintain a limited outbound target to build prospecting skills for future senior outbound roles.
- Consistently meet or exceed metrics for lead follow‑up, qualified opportunities and pipeline progression.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 1 year of sales or related experience in a B2B environment, preferably SaaS or industrial technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence in qualifying inbound prospects.
- Strong listening and discovery abilities to identify customer pain points.
- Quick learner with curiosity about complex products and customer challenges.
- Self‑starter with a collaborative, results‑driven attitude.
