Human Resources Generalist – Remote

About the role

H2 Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a multi‑state, remote workforce. The role blends strategic partnership with day‑to‑day HR operations, aiming to enhance employee experience and ensure compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to leaders, offering guidance on employee relations and policy interpretation.
• Independently investigate and resolve employee relations issues, assess risk, and recommend actions.
• Interpret and apply HR policies consistently across the organization.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to boost efficiency and scalability.
• Analyze trends to recommend proactive solutions, including policy or training updates.
• Support ADA accommodations and workers' compensation processes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; assist with audits and reporting.
• Contribute to HR policy development and employee handbook maintenance.
• Partner cross‑functionally on organizational initiatives and employee engagement strategies.
• Leverage AI and technology tools to streamline HR workflows while ensuring data privacy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably supporting multi‑site or multi‑state environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complex situations.
• Proven track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem‑solving abilities.
