About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a contract assignment in Gloversville, New York. The role supports core HR operations, maintains accurate employee records, and delivers timely workforce reporting for leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records for hires, separations, leaves, transfers, status changes, and contract assignments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual workforce reports for HR leadership.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including documentation, data entry, and communication of HR processes.
- Assist with benefits administration, answering enrollment questions and processing changes.
- Enter, audit, and manage personnel data in HRIS tools while preserving data integrity.
- Document employee relations concerns, support investigations, and maintain confidentiality.
- Process accident and incident reports according to HR and workplace procedures.
- Respond to internal HR administrative requests across the employee lifecycle.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in human resources with broad exposure to HR administration.
- Practical knowledge of onboarding, benefits support, and day‑to‑day HR operations.
- Experience using HRIS platforms and maintaining high data accuracy.
- Background in employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Familiarity with leave tracking, employment status changes, and termination documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and discretion handling sensitive information.
