Hospitality Specialist – Guest Services & Events

About the role

The Hospitality Specialist supports SpaceX’s Starbase location by delivering exceptional guest experiences across food service outlets and event catering. Working closely with hospitality leadership, you will ensure smooth operations, safety, and high‑quality service for employees, partners, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Execute catering and event requests according to detailed schedules, guaranteeing guest satisfaction.
• Set up, run, and break down service stations, dining areas, and storage spaces while maintaining safety and organization.
• Collaborate with the hospitality team to meet time‑critical and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, perform routine equipment checks, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Complete daily record‑keeping, opening/closing checklists, and inventory logs.
• Interact professionally with guests, supervisors, and coworkers, addressing concerns and feedback.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and overall safety guidelines.
• Assist in training new hospitality staff and fill in for other roles as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of food‑service experience in a customer‑service role.
• Strong initiative and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
