Heavy Equipment Operator – Lehi/Orem/Eagle Mountain

About the role

Join Suncore Construction & Materials as a Heavy Equipment Operator, working on projects across the Lehi, Orem, and Eagle Mountain area. You will operate a variety of machines to support construction activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as trackhoes, backhoes, graders, loaders, skidsteers, crushing equipment, and dozers safely and efficiently.
• Excavate trenches, load trucks, and grade pads or floors according to project plans.
• Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine required work.
• Measure, mark, and record openings and distances for layout purposes.
• Perform routine maintenance, greasing, and minor repairs using hand tools.
• Teach and direct laborers on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• At least one year of experience operating a loader, dozer, or trackhoe.
• Ability to read plans and grade stakes.
• Physical ability to bend, sit for long periods, work in heat, and lift 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong attention to safety and teamwork.
