Head of Finance (CFO) – AI‑Powered Logistics Company

About the role

We are a fast‑growing, AI‑driven middle‑mile logistics firm scaling toward $200M+ in revenue. We need a hands‑on Head of Finance/CFO to own the entire finance function, partner with the executive team, and drive strategic financial planning, fundraising, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the full finance organization, including FP&A, treasury, and financial operations.
• Design and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support rapid growth.
• Lead equity and debt fundraising rounds and manage ongoing investor relations.
• Oversee treasury, cash‑flow forecasting, and liquidity planning.
• Develop capital strategy, balancing debt/equity mix to extend runway.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a high‑performing finance team.
• Champion AI‑first, high‑automation finance processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of finance experience in senior leadership roles within high‑growth, scalable businesses (logistics or technology preferred).
• Proven track record in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and building financial planning infrastructure.
• Direct experience with equity/debt fundraising and investor relations.
• Expertise in treasury, cash‑flow management, and liquidity oversight.
• Strong capital‑strategy skills, understanding debt/equity trade‑offs.
• Ability to recruit, build, and lead a finance team and collaborate with executives.
• Willingness to work from Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, or Chicago and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
