About the role

The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking a Groundskeeper II to join its Facilities Management and Services team. This full‑time position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of campus outdoor spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and planting across campus grounds.
• Operate and maintain grounds‑keeping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
• Respond to work orders and address issues related to lawns, trees, and outdoor facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and university policies while working outdoors.
• Assist with seasonal projects such as snow removal or leaf collection as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and operate equipment safely.
