Graphic Designer I – Basketball Apparel

About the role
As a Graphic Designer I for Basketball Apparel, you will shape the visual identity of PUMA Hoops, creating bold graphics that bridge sport and culture. You will work closely with apparel and footwear design teams to deliver cohesive storytelling across collections.
Key responsibilities
- Design seasonal graphics that align with PUMA’s creative direction and strengthen the PUMA Hoops brand language.
- Partner with Apparel, Footwear, PLM, and Color teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across collections.
- Execute quick‑turn graphics in response to cultural and sport moments with speed, precision, and intent.
- Develop complete graphic packs—including placements, trims, prints, and patterns—that scale across tiers.
- Contribute to seasonal color palette development and ensure consistency across categories.
- Maintain an organized graphic library and manage on‑time file handoffs with PUMA Group Sourcing.
- Lead at least one capsule or regional project per season from concept through execution.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Product or Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in apparel graphic design with strong storytelling and cultural awareness.
- Self‑starter mindset, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of basketball culture and sport‑lifestyle trends.
- Confident presentation skills and professionalism when receiving feedback.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
