Full-Time Bank Teller – Hyannis, MA

About the role

Santander is seeking a full‑time teller to join its Hyannis branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly service while handling daily cash transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Follow all bank policies, compliance and risk‑management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Support custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist nearby branches when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• At least 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
