Financial Controller – Miami

About the role

Aeroservicios USA, a Miami‑based provider of new and refurbished Ground Support Equipment, is looking for an experienced Controller to manage accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and administrative financial processes. The role works closely with the CEO, accounting team, HR/payroll, operations in Guatemala, and the corporate team to ensure accurate records and timely financial close.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate established accounting processes to support accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
• Support monthly accounting closings and assist in preparing financial statements.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for management review.
• Maintain internal control trackers and reconciliation tools.
• Prepare monthly KPI, dashboard, and financial reports as requested.
• Assist with quarterly reports and required documentation for banks or external parties.
• Oversee daily bank reconciliations and weekly credit‑card reconciliations.
• Monitor bank activity, transfers, and cash‑related processes.
• Conduct bi‑weekly payroll reconciliations using payroll reports.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections activity.
• Track invoicing, customer balances, and collection follow‑up.
• Review accounts payable to ensure timely supplier payments.
• Maintain and review inventory records for equipment and parts.
• Track renewals for contracts, insurance policies, permits, and credit lines.

Required profile

• Experienced Controller with proven ability to support monthly closings and financial reporting.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with the CEO, accounting team, HR/payroll, and internal departments.
