About the role

This part‑time Federal Work Study position supports the Student Accounts, Financial Aid, and Career Services departments at Platt College. The role is ideal for an enrolled student seeking hands‑on administrative experience while maintaining academic eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
• Create and type correspondence for various departments.
• Prepare and mail financial aid packets.
• Assist in setting up and developing student workshops, events, and on‑campus activities.
• Monitor supply inventory for equipment used by the student population.

Required profile

• Must be currently enrolled at Platt College.
• Maintain at least 90% attendance and a 2.5 GPA or higher.
• Meet Department of Education Federal Work Study eligibility requirements.
• Ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Open communication with supervisor.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
