About the role

Join the U.S. Army Medical Corps as a Family Medicine Physician and provide comprehensive primary care to Soldiers, retirees, and their families. This position focuses on patient care without the constraints of insurance authorizations or production quotas, allowing you to make a direct impact on military readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient primary care services to active‑duty service members and their families.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform preventive health examinations and wellness visits.
• Collaborate with specialists and allied health professionals.
• Mentor medical students, residents, and junior healthcare personnel.
• Participate in operational and readiness medicine activities.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. school (foreign graduates acceptable with ECFMG certification).
• Current, unrestricted medical license in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
• Eligibility for board certification in family medicine.
• Completion of an approved Graduate Medical Education internship in family medicine.
