Extra Help Athletics Trainer

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking an Extra Help Athletics Trainer to join its Nursing and Allied Health staff on a temporary fixed‑term basis. This position supports the campus athletics program by providing health‑related assistance to student‑athletes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic health and injury assistance during athletic activities.
• Assist the primary athletics trainer in monitoring student‑athlete wellness.
• Maintain records of treatments and follow university health protocols.

Required profile

• Current or former employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees or graduate assistants) who can log into Workday.
• Background in nursing, allied health, or related field.
• Ability to work on the Pine Bluff campus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic athletic training and first‑aid procedures.
