Experienced Software Developer

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an Experienced Software Developer to join its hybrid team in San Leandro, CA. You will work on mission‑critical industrial software that powers leading automation and engineering solutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Make technical decisions on scaling, reliability, performance and maintenance for complex systems.
• Design, develop, test and debug C#/.NET, C++, and JavaScript applications.
• Deliver software on schedule while providing accurate estimates.
• Follow team processes, documentation standards and code style guides.
• Provide technical support, including direct customer assistance and issue escalation.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to recruiting efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience with object‑oriented languages (C#, C++, JavaScript) and large‑scale connected systems.
• Proven ownership of high‑impact, mission‑critical products.
• Experience leading medium‑scale initiatives and delivering results independently.
